We had an excellent ride and a very good experience with our guide, Rajasekar. He explained to us, in very good English, lots of details about the trip, about the tea and coffee plantations, about the animals. He also offered us lunch in a very scenic location on our way and he drove very carefully. And the places around Munnar are to die for.

Really a great 6 hour hike. Great variety of environments (tea plantation, jungle, village, mountain ..), all interesting, jungle part really impressive (bear sighting!), and lots of signs of animal activity everywhere (elephant tracks). Samy the guide is fantastic, knows a lot whether it's about the tea plantations or the environment and medicinal plants. The taste of fresh wild cardamon... We had Samy as our guide, who showed us beautiful places and took care of us ever every time. He brought amazing breakfast to the first viewpoint.
